q.beyond and aiomatic launch partnership for predictive maintenance in industrial production

q.beyond will focus above all on developing consulting activities to cover aiomatic’s digital maintenance assistant. To this end, q.beyond will draw on its standardised consulting processes, which are also capable of adaptation to the specific needs of individual customers. Furthermore, the IT service provider will bring to the partnership a large customer base of production companies for which aiomatic’s solution may be relevant.
New efficiency and innovation standards in industry

AI solution in q.beyond’s private cloud
It is planned to host aiomatic’s solution in q.beyond’s private cloud. The IT service provider has prepared the cloud environment at its proprietary high-security data centres in Germany to deploy AI solutions, such as that offered by aiomatic. Using q.beyond’s own AI-ready cloud infrastructure, aiomatic will be able to operate its solution more cost-effectively. Moreover, q.beyond’s private cloud also offers a high degree of data sovereignty.
Furthermore, aiomatic will in future be able to draw on the IT service provider’s software development capacities. This will make it possible to further develop aiomatic’s existing product at even greater pace.
Better predictions and faster scalability
aiomatic’s solution prevents machine downtime in industry by providing a digital, AI-based maintenance assistant that monitors machines on a fully automated basis, detects downtime in advance and thus predicts the optimal time for maintenance. The AI assistant developed by aiomatic is characterised by a high degree of automation. To date, the use of software for predictive maintenance required a great deal of manual input. By deploying innovative technologies, such as large language models (LLMs), aiomatic is able to automate a large part of the work and achieve significantly more exact predictions than other providers. This facilitates rapid scaling and means that the solution can quickly be put to use at customers.
The first customers are already benefiting from the cooperation: One example involves monitoring and maintaining large-scale baking lines at a market-leading bread manufacturer in Germany.
The two new partners will be on site at the “maintenance” trade fair in Dortmund on 19 and 20 February 2025.
