q.beyond to present market innovation to simplify goods receipt process at DSAG Annual Congress
- SAP Build Apps “OneEasyPlan” and “OneEasyCheck” close critical gap in processes
- Rapid switch from manual to digitalised process
- Integration of q.beyond software and Circlon hardware
The two apps will be presented for the first time at the booth of q.beyond AG (booth E3 – Hall 3) at the DSAG’s Annual Congress, which will be held at Leipzig Exhibition Centre (Leipziger Messe) from 15 to 17 October 2024.
Minimising risks and enhancing quality of goods receipt
“Many companies have not changed the processes used to manage goods receipt for decades. Logistics staff still use paper lists to record whether incoming materials have defects, for example, or check that the correct volumes have been delivered. The upstream and downstream processes, namely ordering and incoming goods documentation, have long been digitalised. We are now closing this gap with our SAP Build Apps ‘OneEasyPlan’ and ‘OneEasyCheck’”, explains Alexander Hartmann, a member of q.beyond’s management. “Given the cooperation with our hardware partner Circlon and our decades of SAP expertise, companies can now put the apps to productive use in the shortest of timeframes.”
Simple individualisation thanks to low code/no code
These apps draw on “SAP Build Apps”, the latest SAP standard for system extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). In this, the core of the S/4HANA system is kept clean and permanently updateable. Thanks to the low code/no code development environment SAP Build, after one-off implementation by q.beyond even users without programming skills are able to create and, if need be, amend checklists for goods receipt inspections in the app. Double data retention is not required: the relevant master data is read out in the SAP S/4HANA backend system, with the inspection results being transferred back to the system, where they are available for subsequent processes. These processes work with standardised interfaces.
Integrated software development closes gaps in processes
Comments Thies Rixen, CEO of q.beyond AG: “To portray all of their processes in fully digital terms, companies need both standard applications, such as those offered by SAP and Microsoft, and individual applications exactly matching company-specific requirements. With our all-round expertise, we support companies in meeting both these challenges and thus ensure fully digital processes for the corporate landscape at our customers.”
Interested parties can book an appointment for a live demonstration of the apps at the DSAG Annual Congress 2024 in Leipzig: q.beyond at the DSAG Annual Congress.
