QSC AG appoints Ina Schlie to Supervisory Board
Cologne, September 19, 2012. Ina Schlie (45), Senior Vice President Global Tax at SAP AG in Walldorf, has been appointed a new member of the Supervisory Board of QSC AG in Cologne, Germany. She thus replaces John C. Baker, who had resigned his office of shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board effective May 31, 2012.
Ina Schlie, who holds a postgraduate degree in economics, has headed up the global tax department at SAP AG since 2001, where she is responsible for all strategic aspects of global tax planning and optimization. Moreover, she enjoys long years of experience, especially relating to national and international taxation, as well as in the field of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, she had worked at KPMG in Frankfurt. In addition, Schlie is a member of the management board of the BITKOM steering committee, chairs the taxation working group at the Schmalenbach Society, and represents SAP in associations like the BDI.
In appointing Ina Schlie, who will chair the Audit Committee on the QSC AG Supervisory Board, QSC AG is pleased to welcome once again a woman to sit on its Supervisory Board. A finance and tax expert, Schlie is the mother of three children and is actively engaged in mentoring male and female executives.
"We are pleased to have won Ina Schlie, a finance and tax expert, who additionally brings to the table an in-depth knowledge of the IT industry thanks to her years of work at SAP. She will thus be in a position to provide competent support as QSC AG evolves from a pure TC provider to a provider of ICT solutions, products and services," notes QSC AG Supervisory Board Chairman Herbert Brenke.
"QSC AG is a highly dynamic TecDAX company and one of the few service providers in Germany who, together with subsidiaries INFO AG and IP Exchange GmbH, is able to offer comprehensive ICT solutions to small and mid-size enterprises. That's what I find so very exciting about my new task as a member of the QSC AG Supervisory Board," adds Schlie.
