QSC offers rapid cloud transition with VMware
- QSC receives VMware Cloud commendation

Cologne, 19 November 2019 – QSC AG will with immediate effect be offering its customers a highly automated portfolio of solutions for migrating their on-premises IT to a private cloud at short notice. This way, IT managers can continue to manage all aspects of their IT infrastructure even after the transition to QSC’s cloud. The transfer and subsequent operation of IT infrastructure will be managed using virtualisation solutions from VMware. The current award of the VMware Cloud Verified Badge means that SMEs can be sure that the solutions deployed also meet the highest quality standards. Not only that, the private cloud environment is also operated at the high-security data centres of QSC AG, which are located in Germany and certified under multiple standards.
Cloud expertise with distinction
Comments Hervé Renault, Head of Cloud Provider Business EMEA at VMware: “QSC has longstanding experience with the failsafe operation of IT environments. We are delighted to have been able to support QSC once again in developing a high-performance portfolio for this additional offering.” The underlying cloud technologies and services for this offering are based on “VMware Cloud Infrastructure”, including the VMware vSphere, vSAN and NSX solutions. According to Renault, the current commendation is exclusively awarded to cloud service providers that have proven all-round expertise and hands-on experience in developing and managing cloud environments.
Full autonomy in the cloud
“The awarding of the VMware Cloud Verified Badge offers yet further proof of the performance capacity of our cloud portfolio”, comments Thies Rixen, a member of QSC’s management. “This way, we support our customers in digitalising their businesses in a manner of their own choosing. After all, this solution allows them to retain full control of their IT environment, which is also based exclusively in Germany.” QSC provides users with a cloud cockpit based on VMware technologies which enables them to administer their infrastructure independently after their move to the cloud.
QSC has already successfully migrated the first customers with their entire existing IT environments to its cloud data centres, and that in just a few weeks. The data centres are certified under TÜV and ISO, meet the highest security standards and are located without exception in Germany.
