Gasunie Deutschland prematurely extends ICT outsourcing contract with QSC

• QSC to remain as ICT full-service provider to Gasunie Deutschland through to July 2018
• QSC to provide ICT infrastructure, SAP services, and communications platform for business messaging and archiving
• Expansion and optimisation of sector-specific consulting services

Cologne, 20 July 2015. Gasunie Deutschland will be relying on the industry experience of the one-stop ICT service provider QSC AG in the years ahead as well. The Hanover-based long-distance grid operator, which operates a natural gas transmission grid of around 3,600 kilometres in north-western Germany, is prematurely extending its ICT outsourcing contract through to July 2018.

The solution package QSC AG offers to Gasunie covers full provision and operation of ICT infrastructure and all SAP services, archiving and the business messaging and communications service. The business messaging and communications platform acts as the hub for incoming and outgoing data about business processes. It operates in accordance with predefined rules and procedures and connects Gasunie’s applications and systems to each other, as well as to customers and market partners.
