QSC Wins Big-Ticket Order for 9,000 DSL Lines

Cologne, 22/03/2001. QSC AG (PLCNasdaq: QSCG), Germany's leading alternative DSL provider, has entered into a supply agreement with the Internet service providers mediaWays and RWE Powerline GmbH (LLC). Within the framework of the so-called powerline project "Internet from the power outlet", mediaWays will buy from QSC more than 9,000 DSL lines having a transmission capacity of 2.3 MBit per second each. Through this high-speed line, mediaWays connects its backbone network with the electric network of RWE Powerline. The agreement runs for three years and represents QSC's biggest single order so far.
