QSC reports exponential growth of line sales
In advance of its nine-months-report, Cologne-based QSC AG, leading German provider of broadband-access-infrastructure, has reported an extraordinary increase in the numer of sold lines in the 3-months-period ending Sep 30.
As of Sep 30, the company had managed to sell over 3.200 broadband-lines in the SDSL-market. Compared with 800 lines sold as of June 30, the end of the last quarter, this means of a quadrupling of sales over the last quarter.
According to QSC-management, one ot the reasons für this strong exponential growth is the fact that the telephone-infrastructure in Germany is currently the only viable and interactive broadband-platform, especially since broadband cable in Germany is still far from having back-channel-capabilities - as opposed to the US-market.
The company will announce more details in ist nine-months-report, to be published Nov 28.
